Rethinking corrosion protection: efficient, clean, sustainable
The newly developed process creates a stable and homogeneous protective film directly within the ongoing production process. This eliminates additional process steps, significantly reduces packaging requirements, and ensures a consistently high surface quality of the wire.
Especially in view of increasing demands for process stability, energy efficiency, and sustainability, the system offers decisive added value for wire producers worldwide.
Inline application for maximum process reliability
The application takes place immediately after the drawing process and before coiling. The uniform protective film reduces cleaning effort, minimizes process risks, and ensures lower quality variability, particularly on high-speed lines. At the same time, the system can be easily integrated into existing production environments.
Your benefits at a glance
- High process reliability through clean, controlled application
- Energy and cost efficiency: corrosion protection in a single process step
- Sustainability: complete elimination of oil and VOCs, as well as reduced use of corrosion-protective packaging
- Future-proof integration into new and existing production lines
Integrated licensing system
The process is currently the subject of an ongoing patent application by the three partner companies and is offered exclusively as an integrated licensing system. This ensures that all components are optimally coordinated and that users benefit from reproducible results as well as a single point of contact throughout the entire project.
